Meeting Arrow
Round and round and round they went… note the donkey ahead of them. (Donkey is still settling in too and will get a name soon!)
Huckleberry had a nice little trailer session at Colorado Horse Rescue and arrived to The Little Farm today. She is a brave little pony and is getting along fine with the donkey and Arrow. Arrow has done a lot of squealing in trying to persuade Huckleberry that she is the lead mare. The donkey just tries to stay close but not too close to the mares who push him around. Haven’t let the goats out with “Berry” yet but she doesn’t seem to mind them at all. We are calling her Mary Berry for fun. I’m excited for her to bloom and find a perfect home.
Colorado Horse Rescue is an impressive operation doing great work and I’m really happy to be partnering with them as a foster home for Berry. We think she would be a wonderful little eventing pony.
